Connect Select Star to PostHog to sync your data into the PostHog data warehouse for analysis and modeling.

Enter your Select Star API token to pull your data catalog into the PostHog Data warehouse.

Create a token in Select Star under Account Settings > Client API Token > Manage API Tokens > Create. The token never expires and inherits the creating user's role. Viewer access is enough to read tables, columns, databases, schemas, tags, and BI dashboards.

Linking Select Star to PostHog

  1. Go to the Data pipeline page in PostHog
  2. Click New source and select Select Star
  3. Fill in the required configuration fields
  4. Click Next, select the tables you want to sync, and then press Import
