Linking Synthesia as a source

Skip the manual setup — run this in your project and the wizard auto-detects your databases and APIs and connects them to PostHog.

Enter your Synthesia credentials to pull your AI video generation data into the PostHog data warehouse.

Adding a data source

Go to the sources tab of the data pipeline section in PostHog.
Click + New source and then click Link next to Synthesia.
Go to Synthesia Studio and navigate to Developers > API keys.
Create or copy an API key with the Legacy (v2) scope.
Back in PostHog, enter your API key and click Next.
Select the tables you want to sync, set the sync frequency, then click Import.

Once the syncs are complete, you can start using Synthesia data in PostHog.

All tables use full refresh sync, reloading all data on each run.
