Connect FRED to PostHog to sync your data into the PostHog data warehouse for analysis and modeling.

Pull US and international economic time series from FRED, the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis database, into the PostHog Data warehouse.

Request a free API key at fred.stlouisfed.org/docs/api/api_key.html. FRED has around 800,000 series, so pick the ones you want: a series ID is the code at the end of its FRED page URL, such as UNRATE for the unemployment rate or CPIAUCSL for CPI.

Linking FRED to PostHog

  1. Go to the Data pipeline page in PostHog
  2. Click New source and select FRED
  3. Fill in the required configuration fields
  4. Click Next, select the tables you want to sync, and then press Import
