Metabase

Connect Metabase to PostHog to sync your data into the PostHog data warehouse for analysis and modeling.

Enter your Metabase instance URL and credentials to pull your Metabase data into the PostHog Data warehouse.

Create an API key in your Metabase under Admin settings > Authentication > API keys (Metabase v0.47+). Older instances can authenticate with a username and password instead.

The API key (or user) needs read access to the data you want to sync.

Linking Metabase to PostHog

1. Go to the Data pipeline page in PostHog
2. Click New source and select Metabase
3. Fill in the required configuration fields
4. Click Next, select the tables you want to sync, and then press Import
