Goals
Objective: Ramp the team, scale the FDE function
Q4 2026 Goals
Define migrations with TAE and TAM
Jon Su
Jon Su
Define packages, playbook and framework on how to migrate from another platform onto PostHog, covering mainly product analytics (primary) and feature flags / experiments (secondary). Graduate it to reusable tooling that can be human-assisted. Stretch goal: include it in the wizard.
We'll know we're successful when: The migration playbook is published and used on real engagements, and the reusable tooling exists.
Define interaction with other teams
Leonard Scheidemantel
Leonard Scheidemantel
Make it easy and natural for other GTM teams to pull in FDE.
We'll know we're successful when: We have answered the following questions and shipped a solution to them:
- WHEN should other teams pull in FDE?
- WHAT do they need from us to do so easily and effectively, and what blocks them?
- HOW do we make sure other teams do this naturally, without us reminding them?
Integrate FDE work into PostHog the product
Joshua Ordehi
Joshua Ordehi
Candidates: the wizard, MCP, Slack app, PostHog AI, and self-driving. Anything related to delegation and trust in delegation. For example, we triage the work we make visible into PRs for the wizard. Non-goal: significantly increasing maintenance overhead.
We'll know we're successful when: We contribute improvements at least biweekly to any of these tools, and we find at least one way to triage our work and pipe it into at least one of them with the least overhead possible.
Define metrics and scope capacity
Simon Fisher
Simon Fisher
Define the metrics by how we measure and report on FDE team impact to the wider PostHog.
We'll know we're successful when: We understand the right metrics for measuring FDE impact, and have a view into them at any time during the quarter. We can also understand current workload of individual team members and who is available to work on new projects.

Principles
Extreme customer focus - you should love working customers as much as they love working with you.
Deeply analytical - some of the problems our customers face require a lot of investigation and digging around in data; a focused and analytical mindset is a must.
Being power users of PostHog is a must - otherwise we won't be credible. PostHog is a big and growing platform, so this is a challenge to stay on top of!
