Where to use Business Knowledge

PostHog AI, Support, and MCP clients all read the same sources. A source is used only once it's ready.
PostHog AI
PostHog AI searches your sources when a question is about your own product, policies, or team. Questions about PostHog itself still go to the PostHog docs.
Answers cite the source name, so you can see where a fact came from. When one passage isn't enough, PostHog AI reads more of the document around it.
Support
The Support AI agent drafts ticket replies from your sources. You can't turn it on until at least one source is ready.
Learn from support works the other way: your team's replies to resolved tickets become new sources.
MCP
The PostHog MCP server gives any MCP client tools to search and manage your sources. It tells agents to check Business Knowledge before they answer a question about your company.
