  • AI observability – AI observability records what an application's calls to a language model did – the prompt, the response, the tools used, the latency, the tokens, and the cost. PostHog built it to watch its own AI assistant and released it as a product in February 2025.
  • Error tracking – Error tracking collects the exceptions a running application throws, groups the duplicates into issues, and attaches the context needed to diagnose them. PostHog Error Tracking links each issue to the session replay and the events from the same session.
  • Experiments – An experiment splits users between versions of a product and measures which version performs better against a chosen metric. PostHog Experiments builds on feature flags for assignment and on product analytics insights for measurement.
  • Feature flags – A feature flag is a condition in code that turns a feature on or off for a chosen set of users, without a new deployment. PostHog Feature Flags resolves those conditions from user properties, cohorts, and percentage rollouts.
  • PostHog – PostHog is an open-source platform for building software products. It combines product analytics, session replay, feature flags, experiments, error tracking, surveys, and a data warehouse in a single tool.
  • Product analytics – Product analytics is the measurement of how people use a software product, based on events recorded as they use it. PostHog Product Analytics provides trends, funnels, retention, and user paths over that event data.
  • Session replay – Session replay records what a person did in a product and plays it back as video. PostHog Session Replay captures clicks, scrolls, inputs, and page transitions, and links each recording to the events and errors from the same session.
