This is very helpful when analyzing user paths. The new UI update organizes path cleaning rules as a drag and drop, sorted table. Configure it in your [project settings]( https://app.posthog.com/settings/project#path-cleaning). [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/product-analytics/paths#path-cleaning-rules) ### [Scheduled feature flag updates](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2336) _October 9, 2025 · Feature Flags Team · Feature flags_ You can now schedule changes to feature flags at a future point in time. This lets you overlay one page’s heatmap over another URL. The heatmap data URL also supports wild cards like `foo.bar/pages/*`, which lets you *aggregate* heatmap data over many similar pages. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/session-replay) ### [Configurable recalculation time](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2340) _October 9, 2025 · Experiments Team · Experiments_ You can configure when your experiment calculations automatically refresh in the [experiment settings](https://app.posthog.com/experiments?status=all&page=1&tab=settings). This ensures flag persistence works even if you only identify users on the backend. In practice, it means evaluations will stay consistent across frontend and backend requests – even if the frontend only has an anonymous ID. See our [feature flag best practices](https://posthog.com/docs/feature-flags/best-practices#12-consistent-flag-evaluations-across-frontend-and-backend) for more [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/feature-flags/best-practices#12-consistent-flag-evaluations-across-frontend-and-backend) ### [Unstacked bar charts](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2331) _October 2, 2025 · Product Analytics Team · Product analytics_ We added support for unstacked bar charts as a graph option in PostHog insights. You can now exclude elements from rageclick detection using the new `.ph-no-rageclick` class, letting you filter out false positives like clicking “next” or “previous” buttons too quickly. We’ve also added a [rageclick configuration](https://posthog.com/docs/libraries/js/config#configuring-rageclick) with a `css_selector_ignorelist` setting to our JS web SDK. You can use it to create a custom list of CSS selectors to exclude, giving you more control over which elements trigger rage clicks. This validation step will: - Surface any errors from this test query - Warn you when key column types don’t match - Warn you if the query doesn’t return any rows Errors will block you from performing joins, but not warnings. ### [ Query internal PostHog data with system tables](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2325) _September 19, 2025 · Warehouse Team · Warehouse_ HogQL now supports the concept of system tables. Sometimes, your goal is to see a decrease, like fewer unsubscribes or support tickets. You can now configure goals for your experiments to increase or _decrease_ a metric. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/experiments) ### [Feature flags with variant overrides now respect condition evaluation order](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2317) _September 13, 2025 · Feature Flags Team · Feature flags_ We fixed a bug where feature flags ignore [condition evaluation order](https://posthog.com/docs/feature-flags/common-questions#if-a-user-matches-multiple-release-conditions-which-one-is-used) configured when variant overrides are present. This introduces a **breaking change**. If this change impacts one of your feature flags, we’ll send you an email. Before this update, your feature flag conditions with variant overrides would always evaluate before other conditions, ignoring the defined order. With this fix, the conditions will be evaluated respecting the defined order. To make sure your feature flags still work as expected, do the following: - Review multi-variant flags that mix conditions with and without variant overrides. - Check the order of conditions – after the fix, they’ll be respected exactly as configured. - Reorder conditions if needed so that the intended audience still gets the right variant. This is especially important if you have complex flags with multiple conditions mixing variant overrides. If you have questions about this change, reach out to our support team. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/feature-flags/common-questions#if-a-user-matches-multiple-release-conditions-which-one-is-used) ### [Clip recordings to the relevant parts + export as video/gif](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=1909) _September 11, 2025 · Replay Team · Session replay_ Being able to turn session recordings into "Clips" and allow users to highlight the important parts of a recording with the option to export the clip as a video/gif. Of course you do! And now you can do all that and more in our revenue analytics tool, which has just graduated to open beta so that everyone can try it out. Revenue analytics enables you to connect financial and payment data into PostHog so you can correlate it with other product data and analyze how things impact your bottom line. However, there's no way to share a direct link to a survey for users to access outside the app. This feature introduces support for Full Screen and External Surveys, allowing you to generate a shareable URL that users can open in any browser — ideal for collecting feedback via email, social media, or other external channels without requiring them to be inside the product. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/surveys) ### [LLM analytics is out of beta](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2307) _August 27, 2025 · AI Observability Team · AI observability_ Emerging from beta like a hedgehog from hibernation, [LLM analytics is now ready for primetime](https://posthog.com/llm-analytics). In fact, [teams like Lovable are already using it](https://posthog.com/customers/lovable) at scale debug their traces, monitor performance, track costs, and even test different models against each other. Testing models against each other is especially cool because it uses the playground feature, which was based on a suggestion from Lovable's engineers. The playground enables you to recreate or manufacture new traces with full visibility of the models inner machinations. Now it's out of beta, LLM analytics has [everything you'd expect from a PostHog product launch](https://posthog.com/why), including **a massive 100,000 free events every month** and usage-based pricing that doesn't rely on per-seat penalties. In short, LLM analytics is ([to quote Lovable's engineers](https://posthog.com/customers/lovable)) "*super cool*". [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/ai-observability) ### [Max AI now understands surveys, flags, and variants](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2302) _August 26, 2025 · PostHog AI_ Previously, Max AI couldn't create surveys behind feature flags or variants. But now he can. It's also worth mentioning that surveys have had a massive price improvement recently and we've massively boosted the size of the free tier. If you've never created a survey for your users before, now you can do it for free _and_ you can do it behind flags. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/posthog-ai) ### [New security emails enabled](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2303) _August 26, 2025 · Platform Features Team · Uncategorized_ Security is occasionally quite dull, but that doesn't stop us from taking it seriously - even if it's a little bothersome. We now send email notifications when your account is accessed from a new or unfamiliar device. It's a _tiny_ bit noisy, but it helps you keep an eye on where your account is being accessed and stop unauthorized logins. Hey, if it helps protect just one user then we think it'll be worth it. ### [Emojis now supported in session replay comments](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2306) _August 26, 2025 · Replay Team · Session replay_ 🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀 [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/session-replay) ### [Activity logs launched for annotations](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2304) _August 26, 2025 · Platform UX Team · Dashboards_ We've added a new activity log view to the annotations tool, so you can see a full history of changes to annotations and get relevant context on your insights. Annotations are a free, oft-overlooked aspect of good data hygiene which enable you to add comments to your data for future use. Had a big marketing launch or an incident? Add an annotation to the data and you'll always have the context on hand when you look back at the data. If you've been looking for a sign that you should update your annotations, consider this it. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/product-analytics/dashboards) ### [You can now search replays by comment text](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2305) _August 26, 2025 · Replay Team · Session replay_ *"review this later" "should get james to look at this" "discuss this in sprint planning"* If you find yourself often leaving comments like this on session replay, then you'll be happy to know that you can now find session replays by searching based on attached comments. It's also helpful if your comments are a bit more actionable. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/session-replay) ### [Dashboard query parameters](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2301) _August 13, 2025 · Product Analytics Team · Dashboards_ We’ve moved the dashboard filter, date range, and breakdown into query parameters, making it possible to set them dynamically through links. Let us know! [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/product-analytics/dashboards) ### [Stripe webhook template now available](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2299) _August 8, 2025 · Workflows Team · CDP_ We've added a Stripe webhook source template for PostHog's data pipelines, enabling you to easily ingest and validate events from Stripe. This is useful because, if you use Stripe, you probably want data from it into PostHog. Obviously. With it, you can do things like correlate revenue with other product metrics, for example. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/data-pipelines) ### [Google Tag Manager destination now available](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2300) _August 8, 2025 · Workflows Team · CDP_ We now have a new CDP destination for Google Tag Manager in an experimental state for you to try. Because it's in an experimental state we're still working on some features and documentation for this destination, so please [let us know if you see any bugs](http://app.posthog.com/home#supportModal) while we get it polished up! [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/data-pipelines) ## July 2025 ### [Max AI can now create surveys for you](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2295) _July 28, 2025 · PostHog AI_ Surveys has now joined the ever-growing list of tools which [Max](https://posthog.com/max), our in-built AI assistant, can deploy in context. Which is a fancy way of saying: "[If you ask Max to create a survey for you, now he will.](https://app.posthog.com/#panel=max)" Want to give it a try? Just open Max and trying a command such as "Create an NPS survey for returning visitors" or "Create a feedback survey" and Max will take care of the details. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/posthog-ai) ### [Create bigger replay collections more easily](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2297) _July 28, 2025 · Replay Team · Session replay_ We've made it easier to create new collections (previously known as playlists) directly from several selected recordings at once. All you have to do is start selecting replays and then you can add them all to a collection at the same time! [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/session-replay) ### [Max AI can now search existing insights (and property definitions)](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2296) _July 28, 2025 · PostHog AI_ Up until now, if you asked [Max AI](https://posthog.com/max) a question then he'd create a new insight for you, but he wouldn't search existing insights for the answer first. We don't charge for insights, so this didn't make much of a difference - but it _was_ inefficient. So, we fixed it. Max will now search existing insights for answers to your questions before creating a brand new insight. Plus, he'll also search event types and property definitions to give you a better experience when filtering for session replays! [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/posthog-ai) ### [Error tracking rules are re-orderable, made to be broken](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2298) _July 28, 2025 · Error Tracking Team · Error tracking_ You can use rules in error tracking to automatically complete common actions, such as assigning certain types of issues to a specific person. Until now those rules were cast in stone however, and it was all too easy to break things by having rules that played out in nonsensical orders. So, we've added drag-and-drop functionality to the rules menu -- meaning you can now shuffle rules around and reshape the error tracking world according to your whim. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/error-tracking) ### [Flutter Surveys get a major upgrade and new features](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2294) _July 23, 2025 · Surveys_ The Flutter beta for PostHog surveys has taken a major leap forward this week, with a big update that adds support for multi-question surveys, confirmation messages, conditional questions, event triggers, device targeting, and more. This means you can not only create better looking surveys, but you can also create more complicated and useful survey structures and send them to users based on their in-app behaviour. The [Flutter beta is currently available for iOS and web](https://posthog.com/docs/surveys/installation?tab=Flutter), but Android support is coming soon. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/surveys/installation?tab=Flutter) ### [Heads up: Maybe avoid using `/ingest` in reverse proxy URLs](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2293) _July 23, 2025 · Support Team · Configuration_ We've noticed some popular ad blockers, including uBlock, have recently started blocking requests to URLs that contain `/ingest`, which may impact functionality. Short version: If you're using a reverse proxy then we recommend avoiding `/ingest` in your endpoint path and instead using something else less likely to trigger the blockers. This isn't an update on our side, to be clear. It's due to updates in other, third-party systems, but we've updated [our reverse proxy docs](https://posthog.com/docs/advanced/proxy) to ensure you get the best possible guidance and experience. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/advanced/proxy) ### [DeskHog, our open-source developer toy, is now available](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2292) _July 21, 2025 · Video Team · Uncategorized_ DeskHog is our first foray into the wild, exciting world of computer hardware. It's an open-source, 3D printed, palm-sized developer toy that's designed to be hacked, explored, and tinkered with. It comes with games. It comes with business tools. Ready to find out more about the hardware, and watch our new launch videos? Head to [the DeskHog community page](https://posthog.com/deskhog). ### [We now support IPv6](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2289) _July 18, 2025 · Cloud Foundations Team · Configuration_ Previously, we only accepted traffic on IPv4. Now, we also support IPv6. This is important because IPv6 is becoming more common. 10-15% of our traffic now comes through on IPv6 and, while the vast majority of devices will fallback to IPv4, that may not always be the case in the future. (It's incredibly hard to come up with a screenshot for this topic, so instead please enjoy this behind-the-scenes view as to how these changelog posts get written instead.) ### [Emojis now available in annotations](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2282) _July 17, 2025 · Replay Team · Uncategorized_ For a while now you've been sort-of-able to use emojis in annotations within PostHog, adding cheeky little side-eye reactions to your data for historical context. Well, sort-of just got a little more legit with the addition of a new emoji picker that lets you choose from a wealth of standard emojis easily. Our favourite, naturally, is 🦔. ### [Create Linear issues from PostHog error tracking](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2284) _July 17, 2025 · Error Tracking Team · Error tracking_ Linear, everyone's favourite tool for planning and building product roadmaps, now has direct support within [PostHog error tracking](https://posthog.com/error-tracking). Simply connect your account and, when you spot an error, you can create a Linear issue from it in just a few clicks. Actually resolving the issue may take a bit more work though, admittedly. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/error-tracking) ### [Notebooks now support table of contents](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2283) _July 17, 2025 · Error Tracking Team · Uncategorized_ Ever committed to making [our free notebooks](https://posthog.com/blog/introducing-notebooks) feature better, David added in support for table of contents this week [at a users' request](https://x.com/yo_puaaa/status/1942224550575440024). Now, you can write full novels and chapter-books in PostHog! ### [You can now duplicate surveys to multiple projects](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2285) _July 17, 2025 · Surveys_ Do you need to ask the same question again and again to get the answer you want? No? OK, but what if you need to ask the same question again and again to get the answer you want? We've made it easier to ask the same questions again and again by adding the ability to duplicate surveys to other projects on PostHog. This is super handy if you have your app and marketing website set up under different projects, but want to keep asking so you can be sure to get the answer you want. You need that, right? [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/surveys) ### [PostHog SQL now supports and because we don't know why](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2286) _July 17, 2025 · Hedgehogs Team · HogQL_ OK, so it doesn't show up very well in screenshots, but PostHog SQL now supports and tags. Why? Blame [Marius](https://posthog.com/community/profiles/30202) that's why. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/sql) ### [Max AI now searches existing insights automatically](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2287) _July 17, 2025 · PostHog AI_ Our in-app data assistant, Max AI, will now automatically search any existing insights for relevant information whenever you ask a question. Only if he can't find the data you want will he then create a new insight for you. This is handy for two reasons. Firstly, it makes sure Max is always gathering the latest information and context about your data. Secondly, it means your projects won't fill up with duplicate insights when everyone keeps asking the same questions! [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/posthog-ai) ### [Max AI can now create entire dashboards](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2288) _July 17, 2025 · PostHog AI_ Need a new dashboard created around a topic, or exploring data on multiple axis? Max AI, our in-app product manager, has got you covered. All you have to do is ask him for help! [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/posthog-ai) ### [PostHog stories (a.k.a HogTok)](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2281) _July 7, 2025 · Video Team · Uncategorized_ Struggling to focus on anything longer than a few minutes? Has your attention span shrunk by 10x? *Yeah, us too*. So we built PostHog stories, an in-app video player, where you can watch quick, bite-sized videos on product features, changelog updates, and tips to help you get more out of PostHog's platform. It's dopamine but for building successful products. [Log in to PostHog](https://app.posthog.com/) and watch a few stories. ### [55 new real-time destinations added ](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2275) _July 7, 2025 · Workflows Team · CDP_ The CDP team has, with a little help from Segment, kicked into overdrive this week and added 55 new real-time destinations to PostHog. Most should feel just like normal destinations, but others (such as Canny.io) may need a few Segment-specific steps due to how they're implemented. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/cdp/destinations/segment-actions-absmartly) ### [Max AI can now create Hog functions](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2274) _July 4, 2025 · Workflows Team · PostHog AI_ If you need to spin up new destinations and transformations in our CDP, you may have used [Hog](https://posthog.com/docs/hog) already. It's our in-house programming language that helps you transform and export your data in real time. And now our AI assistant, [Max AI](https://posthog.com/docs/max-ai), can use it too! Max AI already supports creating filters, inputs, and the underlying Hog code based on your prompts - making it a heck of a lot easier for you to work with your data in PostHog. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/hog) ### [Write Hog functions with natural language](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2250) _July 1, 2025_ Max can create custom data pipeline transformations for you, using our Hog programming language. ## June 2025 ### [Experiments can now use frequentist statistical methods](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2270) _June 30, 2025 · Experiments Team · Experiments_ You can now create experiments in PostHog which operate using the frequentist statistical approach, rather than Bayesian. If that sounds like white noise to you, what it basically means is: Yay, more maths! [Frequentist statistical models](https://posthog.com/docs/experiments/frequentist-method) are a more traditional approach for reviewing experiments, and they tend to be preferred in larger companies because data teams like them for their easily validated results. Bayesian is still available as an option if you're an absolute renegade though and we've added the option to set your preference at the organization level too. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/experiments/frequentist-method) ### [Managed migrations now available](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2271) _June 30, 2025 · Ingestion Team · Uncategorized_ Managed migrations provide an automated way to migrate your historical data into PostHog without writing custom scripts. They're especially useful if you want to migrate from Mixpanel or Amplitude, to PostHog. There are two types of managed migration available right now: 1. **Direct imports**, which connects to your Mixpanel or Amplitude using your API creditials, and 2. **S3 imports**, which upload your event data to an S3 bucket in JSONL format for automatic ingestion In either case, you can [check the docs for more info](https://posthog.com/docs/migrate/managed-migrations) or [head directly to the managed migrations page](https://app.posthog.com/managed_migrations) to get started. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/migrate/managed-migrations) ### [AI prompts to fix issues found with error tracking](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2272) _June 30, 2025 · Error Tracking Team · Error tracking_ [Max AI](https://posthog.com/docs/max-ai) can do a lot of things, but he can't fix issues in your codebase yet. Until then, you can auto-create prompts in error tracking which should help other AI tools to solve the problems. And we're working on the Max AI thing too, don't worry. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/max-ai) ### [Automatically manage error tracking issues based on rules](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2273) _June 30, 2025 · Error Tracking Team · Error tracking_ We've added [a new rules-based system](https://posthog.com/docs/error-tracking/managing-issues) for automatically managing how error tracking issues are handled, enabling you to automate away a bunch of the tedious assignment and sanitizing work. The new system can, for example, be used to automatically assign issues based on their properties (handy if you want to give jobs to experts), or to group them. You can also filter alerts based on their assignee! [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/error-tracking/managing-issues) ### [You can now breakdown by initial channel in web analytics](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2265) _June 20, 2025 · Web Analytics Team · Web analytics_ Keeping it short and sweet: web analytics now supports the Initial Channel Type property, enabling you to breakdown your pageviews by their initial channel. Naturally, this is mostly useful for finding out what your most performant channels are, not for a particular session but for a particular person. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/web-analytics) ### [Max AI peppiness reduced, easter egg added](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2267) _June 20, 2025 · PostHog AI_ Were you annoyed that sometimes [Max](https://posthog.com/docs/max-ai), our AI assistant, would use two exclamation marks in the same response? [Charles](http://posthog.com/community/profiles/28625) was. So, we've added an ultra-important new rule that minimizes Max's peppiness. While we were at it we also added a secret easter egg. You'll need to wait until September 19th to see it though! [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/max-ai) ### [In-app templating now available for Hog](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2266) _June 20, 2025 · Workflows Team · CDP_ We've previously had feedback that our in-house programming language, [Hog](https://posthog.com/docs/hog), has been a bit tricky to work with. In particular, people didn't like that, while we supported templating, actually using it often required referencing the documentation directly. Well, [Ben](https://posthog.com/community/profiles/30205) took that personally and set to work on a solution. The end result? We now have in-app templating to help you quickly build new destinations in PostHog using Hog. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/hog) ### [Goal lines and breakdowns added to revenue analytics](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2253) _June 6, 2025 · Web analytics_ Listen, we have a lot of products and one of the most common things we want to know is: _how much revenue does each product make?_ Enter: Rafa, who has now added the option for [the revenue analytics beta](http://app.posthog.com/home#panel=feature-previews) to breakdown revenue by product so we can get the data we need. He also added goal lines while he was at it, so we don't take our eye off the ball while we're doing it. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/web-analytics) ### [Vercel feature flag adapter now available](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2252) _June 6, 2025 · Growth Team · Feature flags_ The Flags SDK lets feature flag providers integrate with Vercel, so you can evaluate feature flags and experiments with the SDK. We have feature flags and experiments, so [we made an adapter for it](https://flags-sdk.dev/providers/posthog)! In practice, this means you can write your code against Flags SDK's unified API and have it fetch states directly from PostHog without custom calls. Make changes in PostHog and your Vercel-hosted app will immediately pick up the change via the Flags SDK. Easy! [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/feature-flags) ### [You can now manually stop or start Android session recordings](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2254) _June 6, 2025 · Replay Team · Session replay_ [Manoel](https://posthog.com/community/profiles/30206) made this and wanted us to announce in the headline that users could now _manoelly_ [start and stop recordings on Android devices](https://posthog.com/docs/session-replay/privacy#handling-sensitive-third-party-screens). And that's why Manoel doesn't work in marketing. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/session-replay/privacy#handling-sensitive-third-party-screens) ### [iOS gets surveys, console-log capture updates](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2255) _June 6, 2025 · Replay Team · Uncategorized_ Ioannis has released two big updates for iOS devices, adding both the option to release surveys with conditional question logic on iOS device _and_ the ability to capture console logs. The first is obviously useful for anyone using surveys within their app or on iOS devices, so you can do things like surfacing follow-up questions or skipping needless ones. Console logs, on the other hand, are great for debugging complicated issues observed in session replays. ### [Admins can now restrict teams from inviting other users](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2256) _June 6, 2025 · Billing Team · Pricing & billing_ We don't charge by seats, but there are still valid security concerns for big teams who don't want to let an errant invite give someone unauthorized access to their data. That's why Yasen has added the ability for admins to restrict members from inviting anyone else without permission. That means nobody can get in without your say-so, which is useful for both security _and_ reminding everyone that you're the boss around these parts. We think this improvement is mainly useful for larger teams, so it's currently restricted to users on the [Boost, Scale, and Enterprise add-ons](https://posthog.com/addons). [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/billing) ### [Max AI out of closed beta, and out for justice](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2251) _June 3, 2025 · PostHog AI_ *In the grim darkness of the year 2025, artificial intelligence rules the world. Among the legions of pestering chatbot pop-ups and Will Smith Spaghetti generators, there are only two AIs that fight for humanity.* *The first is Max AI, the AI product manager who helps humans build new insights, write SQL, discover session replays, and more. The second is part machine, part hedgehog, and all justice -- and he is called RoboHog.* (Translation: We've released [Max AI into a public beta for everyone to use for free](https://posthog.com/docs/max-ai), and added[ a new RoboHog option to Hedgehog Mode](https://app.posthog.com/settings/user-customization#hedgehog-mode) to celebrate!) [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/max-ai) ## May 2025 ### [Max can edit your insights](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2242) _May 30, 2025 · PostHog AI_ Max can now edit your insights as you're working on them. Not sure which filters to use, or how to write the perfect SQL query? Just ask Max, and let him do the work for you. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/posthog-ai) ### [Project-specific feature flag secure access keys added](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2245) _May 23, 2025 · Feature Flags Team · Feature flags_ We've added project-specific feature flag keys for local evaluation, available in the feature flags settings page. The benefit of this over normal, personal access keys is that they will remain valid even after an individual leaves your organization. It is still a long and unwieldy name, however. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/feature-flags) ### [Surveys now accept partial responses](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2246) _May 23, 2025 · Surveys_ If your users are easily distracted (look, a squirrel!) then you'll likely appreciate the latest addition to PostHog surveys: [partial responses](https://posthog.com/docs/surveys/creating-surveys#how-posthog-handles-partial-survey-responses). Enabled under the completion conditions (and by default for all new surveys), partial surveys work by sending multiple survey events as a user works through a survey. It's great for collecting more responses, especially in longer surveys. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/surveys/creating-surveys#how-posthog-handles-partial-survey-responses) ### [Data warehouse now loads Stripe info faster](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2247) _May 23, 2025 · Warehouse Team · Warehouse_ In a small tweak that'll have a big impact, we can now load data from Stripe as a data source _much_ faster the first time you set it up. Previously, if you connected Stripe as a data warehouse source then you'd need to wait for the entire sync to finish before any data was available to work with - which could take a while for very large data sets. Now, we'll make data available in PostHog as it streams in, meaning your wait time is reduced from potentially several hours to just one or two minutes! ### [Max can write SQL in the SQL editor](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2244) _May 14, 2025 · Warehouse Team · PostHog AI_ As the title suggests, if you're on our Max AI beta, then you can now ask Max to generate SQL queries for you in the SQL editor. We hate writing SQL. You hate writing SQL. But Max doesn't hate it because he's a robot without actual feelings. So, get him to do the hard work for you! [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/posthog-ai) ### [Laudspeaker is now part of PostHog](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2236) _May 6, 2025 · Blitzscale Team · Uncategorized_ We’ve been working on something secret for the past month, but (if the headline didn’t already give it away) we’re finally ready to announce: Laudspeaker is becoming part of PostHog. [Laudspeaker](https://github.com/laudspeaker/laudspeaker) is an open-source messaging platform and an alternative to tools such as Customer.io. We first heard about it years ago when the team contributed a PostHog and Laudspeaker integration, and we’ve stayed in touch ever since — watching from the sidelines as they started sending over 100 million messages each week. Then, in early March 2025, the Laudspeaker team reached out with an unusual request: they’d had an acquisition offer and were interested in hearing responses. We replied in 10 minutes and within a week we had a plan to bring the entire Laudspeaker team over to work on our new messaging beta! The team is now in the process of winding down Laudspeaker and starting at PostHog. Long story short: Now is a great time to join [our free messaging beta in PostHog](https://us.posthog.com/#panel=feature-previews%3Amessaging-product)! ### [Revenue analytics now available in beta (again)](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2233) _May 1, 2025 · Web analytics_ True, we already launched [a revenue analytics beta within web analytics](https://posthog.com/changelog/2025#changelog-week-12-2025), but it was so popular that we decided to spin it out into it's own thing entirely. Thus, it's now back as an entirely new beta. Revenue analytics enables you to capture revenue from your website via the events you are already sending us, or via an integration between your payment platform and our data warehouse, which you can then track in your revenue analytics dashboard. We highly recommend it to anyone who likes to look at charts that go up and to the right, so [opt-in to the free beta](http://app.posthog.com/home#panel=feature-previews) now and [visit the docs](https://us.posthog.com/project/2/revenue_analytics) to get started. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/web-analytics) ### [Hog transformations are now available](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2234) _May 1, 2025 · Workflows Team · HogQL_ We've just released a new way to transform data immediately before it's ingested into your PostHog instance: [real-time transformations](https://posthog.com/docs/cdp/transformations). You can use transformations for all sorts of things, including anonymizing, enriching, dropping, or filtering events. We've got a bunch of templates to get you started, or you can write your own using [our Hog programming language](https://posthog.com/docs/hog). [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/cdp/transformations) ### [Third-party cookies added (and removed)](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2235) _May 1, 2025 · Developer Marketing Team · Uncategorized_ We didn't mean to do this, but we added third-party cookies to our site last month. It happened while [Brian](https://posthog.com/community/profiles/32934) (who had literally just started on the job) was dogfooding [our Reddit and TikTok CDP destinations](https://posthog.com/cdp) and impacted everyone who visited the site between March 6th and April 25th. We normally have a policy against third-party cookies, so we're sorry this happened. The cookies captured high-level information, such as IP addresses and pageviews across this site, but were only linked to dummy accounts. No ads were served with this info, nor was it used for anything else. Regardless, we wanted to tell you what we're doing to fix the situation: - **We've removed the tracking pixels.** We're now back to using a single, first-party cookie. - **We've added [some guidelines](https://posthog.com/handbook/words-and-pictures/paid#dog-fooding-new-destinations) to our handbook.** This will make sure it doesn't happen again. - **We've asked Brian to be more careful.** We doubt he'll make the same mistake again, but still. - **You can request [Reddit](https://support.reddithelp.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360001370251) and [TikTok](https://www.tiktok.com/legal/report/privacy) remove your data.** Reddit will also purge IP info after 100 days. If you've got questions, just drop us an email at [privacy@posthog.com](mailto:privacy@posthog.com) and we'd be happy to answer them. ## April 2025 ### [Project tree view](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2229) _April 16, 2025 · Platform UX Team · Uncategorized_ We've added a new way to organize everything you do in PostHog: a project tree. Instead of organizing all your data by *our* products, you now have the freedom to organize it however you like. This means you can: 1. Take your dashboards, insights, notebooks, flags, and more. 2. Organize (or create) them in folders by function, team, personal favorites, or more. Just enable **Tree view** in [your feature previews](https://us.posthog.com/#panel=feature-previews%3Atree-view) and click the new **Project** tab to start organizing. Send us your feedback on this too! ### [TikTok destinations](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2231) _April 16, 2025 · Workflows Team · CDP_ Live to feed to the TikTok algorithm? Help your ads do the same with our new TikTok destinations. We've added destinations for both [server-side conversions](https://us.posthog.com/pipeline/new/destination/hog-template-tiktok-ads) and the [pixel](https://us.posthog.com/pipeline/new/destination/hog-template-tiktok-pixel). These enable you to send events captured by PostHog to TikTok to help you track and optimize what's working. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/data-pipelines) ### [Saved filters](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2227) _April 14, 2025 · Replay Team · Session replay_ Done all the work to create the *perfect* filter for session replays? Now you can save it so you can: 1. Use it later 2. Have your teammates use it 3. Build on it to make other filters When filtering replays, just give your filter a name and click **Save filters** to add it to the **Saved filters** tab up top. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/session-replay) ### [Page reports](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2232) _April 14, 2025 · Web Analytics Team · Web analytics_ Web analytics is all about giving you easy access to an overview of your site's performance. **Page reports** give you this same overview access, but for specific pages. See pageview trends, entry and exit paths, channels, referrers, geodata and more. Think something familiar to the "Pages and screens report" you might be familiar with from Google Analytics. It's currently in early access, so you'll need to enable it in the [feature previews tab](https://us.posthog.com/#panel=feature-previews%3Aweb-analytics-page-reports). You'll then be able to head to the [**page reports** tab](https://us.posthog.com/web/page-reports) in web analytics and enter a URL to get an overview of how it's doing. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/web-analytics) ### [Surveys for iOS now in beta](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2225) _April 11, 2025 · Surveys_ We're not yet at _full_ feature parity with our web surveys, but iOS surveys are now available as a beta for iOS 15.0 and above. Similar to React Native, iOS surveys currently support all question types, multi-question surveys, confirmation messages, custom colours, property and flag targeting, and event triggers. Plus, you can target by device type to make sure you're hitting mobile users too! [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/surveys) ### [Survey performance view now available](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2226) _April 11, 2025 · Surveys_ Previously, we only showed you how many responses you had to your surveys. And we did that by filtering by distinct IDs. The issue was that, because some surveys can be shown twice (or more!), this didn't track the actual total number of responses. So, we fixed it. And [a bunch of other things](https://github.com/PostHog/posthog/pull/30787) too. Short version? You'll now get a much more accurate view of how many times your survey is shown, dismissed, and responded to. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/surveys) ### [Messaging now available in beta](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2224) _April 11, 2025 · Workflows Team · Uncategorized_ Wouldn't it be good if you could send emails to your users directly from PostHog, targeting them based on all the data you already have at your fingertips? We think so. Available as an [opt-in beta via the feature previews menu](https://us.posthog.com/#panel=feature-previews%3Amessaging-product), messaging currently enables you to filter users based on most properties and create emails using a basic drag-and-drop editor. You'll need to set up a Mailjet connection (docs coming soon), but this already gives you everything you need to create and send newsletters and email broadcasts to your users. Plus, as with all feature previews, it's completely free to use until release – all we ask is you send us [any bug reports and feedback you have](http://app.posthog.com/home#supportModal). ### [Sortable funnel tables](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2228) _April 9, 2025 · Product Analytics Team · Product analytics_ Funnel tables are usually sorted by the number of people entering them, but this might not always be your main focus. You might care about conversion rates, timings, or drop offs. Now, funnel tables better support this desire. Once broken down, just click the column you want to sort by (like **dropped off** above) and ascend beyond your focus on people entering the funnel. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/product-analytics) ### [Error tracking now available, out of beta](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2222) _April 8, 2025 · Error Tracking Team · Error tracking_ [Error tracking](https://posthog.com/error-tracking) has now launched as a fully-fledged product and we have successfully used it as an ouroboros to eliminate most of the bugs in it. Error tracking has changed a lot since the beta started back in January. Since then we've added a whole bunch of extra features, including... - **Issue assignment** to help you pin the blame on other teams - **Sparklines** to help you visualize exceptions quickly without paying a menu tax - **Integration with other PostHog tools**, including session replays, surveys, and more - **A huge free tier** of 100,000 free exceptions every month The integration with other PostHog tools is especially great because it means the more tools you use (all of which have a huge free tier), the more powerful error tracking in PostHog is. You can easily jump from a tracked error to a relevant session replay, for example, or use surveys to trigger crash reports that help you debug the root cause. Check out [the docs](https://posthog.com/docs/error-tracking) now for more information, or visit [the pricing page](https://posthog.com/pricing) to see how the usage-based billing could work for you. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/error-tracking) ### [Group overview and editable properties added](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2221) _April 3, 2025 · Product Analytics Team · Groups_ You can now get an overview of group information if you use group analytics via the new overview table that includes a configurable dashboard. And that's just one of four improvements for groups that shipped this week! Group properties are now also editable in the UI, so you can add, update, or delete them as needed from within data management. You can also filter events in by group in insights using the event metadata filter, which makes it a lot easier to segment activity across orgs, teams, or whatever else you use groups for. Finally, group table columns are now customizable and...persistable? Basically, if you edit the columns in the group list view, it will now stay that way so you don't have to redo it every time. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/product-analytics/group-analytics) ### [SQL variables now available ](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2220) _April 3, 2025 · Warehouse Team · Warehouse_ You can now use SQL variables in queries, enabling you to create configurable, reusable elements by defining placeholders that can be dynamically replaced with the desired value. This makes it super easy to do things like compare user behaviour before and after specific dates, for example. You just run the query below and the UI will now ask you to provide the variables `start_date`, `launch_date`, and `end_date` - and you can just reuse the query for any launch by changing the date without having to rewrite the SQL. ``` SELECT CASE WHEN timestamp < {variables.launch_date} THEN 'Before Launch' ELSE 'After Launch' END AS period, count() as completions FROM events WHERE event = 'onboarding_complete' AND timestamp BETWEEN {variables.start_date} AND {variables.end_date} GROUP BY period ORDER BY completions DESC ``` ## March 2025 ### [LLM observability gets OpenAI response API support (and more)](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2217) _March 28, 2025 · AI Observability Team · Uncategorized_ There are three major updates for our LLM observability beta this week, the biggest of which is support for OpenAI's response API, which makes it easier to integrate ChatGPT's latest chat endpoint. We've also added support for image URL input (useful if your users send images by link instead of uploading), and token caching with cost calculation (which makes it faster for us to show you how much you're spending). ### [Max AI can now generate SQL, build with actions](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2215) _March 28, 2025 · Product analytics_ Our beta in-app assistant, Max, got two new abilities this week to help you get to insights more quickly. Firstly, if you specifically ask Max about generating SQL, he'll do that. This is helpful if our usual insight tools aren't getting you where you want to be – you can get help for a SQL insight instead. Secondly, Max can now built insights out of actions too, whereas previously he could only access events. Ready to take Max for a spin? You can [opt into the beta in-app](http://app.posthog.com/home#panel=feature-previews). [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/product-analytics) ### [Max AI can now help you search session recordings](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2216) _March 28, 2025 · PostHog AI_ [Max AI](https://posthog.com/docs/max-ai), our in-app AI assistant, got another big new feature this week: the ability to keep the session replay tool in context and help you search through recordings with natural language. Max is still in beta, but he's progressing quickly, so [opt-in to the beta now](http://app.posthog.com/home#panel=feature-previews) and let us know if you have any feedback about what we should give Max access to next. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/max-ai) ### [Changelog - Week 12, 2025](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2208) _March 21, 2025 · Website Team · Uncategorized_ It's been another week and, as March draws to a close, we're reminded of how seasons change. You know what else has changed? Read on. - **Product analytics**: [Hamed](https://posthog.com/community/profiles/32962) redesigned the event property filters with a columnar layout, making it easier to navigate through the maze of properties, flags, and more. - **Product analytics**: The event list selector now goes higher than 100, begging the question: what is the biggest number? - **Product analytics**: [Anirudh](https://posthog.com/community/profiles/30974) added a 'View events' button to Trend and Retention graphs, which let you get more info on the numbers. - **Product analytics**: [Hamed](https://posthog.com/community/profiles/32962), again. He fixed a SQL index issue on the events table. The effect? Event lists now load dramatically faster. - **Data warehouse**: BigQuery is now available for all, says [Tomas](https://posthog.com/community/profiles/29456). Sync away. - **Batch exports**: Tomas is on a roll. He added the ability to run tests on batch exports, so you can be sure they're configured correctly. - **Revenue tracking:** Is now live, in beta, says [Rafael](https://posthog.com/community/profiles/32207). ### [Data pipelines now support Reddit and Snapchat](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2212) _March 20, 2025 · Workflows Team · CDP_ We've added two new experimental new integrations for data pipelines to help you track ad conversions from [Reddit](https://posthog.com/docs/cdp/destinations/reddit-ads-conversion-api) and [Snapchat](https://posthog.com/docs/cdp/destinations/snapchat-ads). These are experimental integrations at the moment while we work out the kinks - let us know if you have any feedback! [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/cdp/destinations/reddit-ads-conversion-api) ### [Early access now supports roadmap items](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2211) _March 20, 2025 · Website Team · Uncategorized_ We say everyone at PostHog codes, and as proof of that this product update comes to you via [our Comms team](https://posthog.com/teams/words-pictures). [Joe](https://posthog.com/community/profiles/29070) has added support for multiple feature stages in the JS SDK, meaning that if you use [our early access feature management suite](https://posthog.com/docs/feature-flags/early-access-feature-management) then you can now list items as 'Concepts' that users can sign-up to for more info in the future. Effectively, this gives you a roadmap with waitlist functionality that allows users to sign up to individual items. We now use it ourselves, so [check our new in-app roadmap](http://app.posthog.com/home#panel=feature-previews) and make sure to subscribe for notifications about things you're interested in! [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/feature-flags/early-access-feature-management) ### [BigQuery now available as a CDP source](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2209) _March 15, 2025 · Warehouse Team · Warehouse_ We've now added BigQuery as a data pipeline source, enabling you to get data from a BigQuery table into your data warehouse. You must grant a limited set of permissions so the connector can create, query, and delete temporary tables without exposing your entire BigQuery environment - but we explain all that in [the BigQuery docs](https://posthog.com/docs/cdp/sources/bigquery). [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/cdp/sources/bigquery) ### [Revenue tracking enters public beta](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2210) _March 15, 2025 · Web analytics_ We've added a new beta which enables you to capture revenue data from your website (via events) or an integration with a payment platform. We then surface that data in web analytics, giving you a high-level view of how revenue is performing compared to your other metrics. You can [opt in to the beta now](http://app.posthog.com/home#panel=feature-previews), or [check the docs for more info](https://posthog.com/docs/web-analytics/revenue-tracking). We'll be building a lot more about this in the future too - so much so we've spun up [a new Revenue Analytics team](https://posthog.com/teams) just to focus on it all! [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/web-analytics/revenue-tracking) ### [Changelog - Week 11, 2025](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2204) _March 14, 2025 · Website Team · Uncategorized_ It's Friday, the 14th of March, and you may be wondering: what launched this week? Well, here's the answer. - **Heatmaps**: You can now select viewports in-app, if you're using [the in-app heatmaps beta](http://app.posthog.com/home#panel=feature-previews). Thanks, [Paul](https://posthog.com/community/profiles/30173). - **Session replay**: We now mark viewed recordings in the persons modal, so you don't accidentally watch the same thing twice. Thanks, [Paul](https://posthog.com/community/profiles/30173) (again). - **Session replay**: You can now configure masking remotely to help manage the privacy for session replay. Thanks, [Joshua](https://posthog.com/community/profiles/32497). - **Early access feature management**: We now support multiple feature stages in the JS SDK, meaning you can now list items as 'Concepts' that users can sign-up to get info about in the future. Thanks, [David](https://posthog.com/community/profiles/30203) and [Joe](https://posthog.com/community/profiles/29070). - **Surveys**: React Native surveys are now in beta. [Give them a go](https://posthog.com/docs/surveys/installation?tab=React+Native), and be sure to thank [Manoel](https://posthog.com/community/profiles/30206). [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/surveys/installation?tab=React+Native) ### [You can now hide old or unwanted events](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2213) _March 7, 2025 · Blitzscale Team · Events & actions_ If you've got old, unwanted, or unused events in PostHog then you may now how annoying it can be to have them cluttering up the place. [Raquel](https://posthog.com/community/profiles/28693) felt the same, so in an effort to tidy the place up, she added the ability to hide them (and their properties) in the data management tool. Just in time for spring cleaning, too. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/data/events) ### [Changelog - Week 10, 2025](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2203) _March 5, 2025 · Website Team · Product analytics_ Looking to find out what launched between 3-7 March, 2025? We got you. Here's what shipped on PostHog this week. - **Product analytics**: You can now organize insights with weekly ranges to show the daily range. Thanks, [Hamed](https://posthog.com/community/profiles/32962). - **Product analytics:** Retention graphs can now be added to dashboards without changing them back to tables. You can also view them as bar charts. Thanks, [Anirudh](https://posthog.com/community/profiles/30974). - **Session replay**: You can now see the activity log as a diff view, and we've added a tab to the sidebar so you can visualize the network waterfall too. Thanks, [Paul](https://posthog.com/community/profiles/30173). - **Web analytics**: You can now switch between multiple different domains using new domains drop down menu in the top left. By default, we show all domains together. Thanks, [Rafa](https://posthog.com/community/profiles/32207). - **Data management:** If you've got old, rare, or unused events cluttering up your interface then you can now hide them (and properties) in the data management tool. We've also made verified events easier to scan. Thanks, [Raquel](https://posthog.com/community/profiles/28693). - **Data pipelines**: Two new experimental Reddit and Snapchat integrations just dropped, to help you track ad conversions from these platforms. Docs coming soon. Thanks, [Marcus](https://posthog.com/community/profiles/30211). [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/product-analytics) ## February 2025 ### [Changelog - Week 9, 2025](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2202) _February 28, 2025 · Website Team · Uncategorized_ As the pace of updates increases, we realized it was getting harder to track all the new releases and improvements in PostHog each week. So, we’re condensing everything down into a single, weekly post. Here’s what shipped this week... - **Max AI:** You can now cancel generations in Max, which is handy if you want to shut him up when he goes wrong. Thanks to Georgiy for [this PR](https://github.com/PostHog/posthog/pull/28810). - **Max AI:** Max has now read the docs, meaning he can now answer questions about PostHog more generally and help you find new ways to do things. - **Max AI:** You can now chat to Max about session replays and he can help you find recordings that are relevant to your questions. - **Product analytics:** You can now add goal lines to trend insights thanks to [this PR](https://github.com/PostHog/posthog/pull/28461) from Rafa, which is handy for tracking progress toward a goal - **Product analytics:** You can now apply custom date ranges to retention insights, which is useful for doing historic analysis over specific periods. [This PR](http://github.com/PostHog/posthog/pull/28012) arrives thanks to Anirudh. - **Session replay:** You can now indicate to others if you’ve watched a recording, so you don’t accidentally waste time by re-watching something you (or others) have already seen. [Thanks, Paul](https://github.com/PostHog/posthog/pull/29067)! - **Session replay:** Additionally, new filter options let you hide any recordings that you (or others) have already seen. [Paul was on a roll this week](https://github.com/PostHog/posthog/pull/29092), it seems. - **Configuration:** Phil has cut [a new 1.0 release of the posthog-dotnet SDK](https://posthog.com/docs/libraries/dotnet), adding to our selection of libraries - **Configuration:** Joshua spotted an issue with how our Segment library was handling pageleave events, and [fixed it](https://github.com/PostHog/posthog.com/pull/10780) - **Data pipelines:** Following an incident with data pipelines this month, we’ve added the option to retry any failed runs. You can select failed runs in the Logs tab of each destination to access the retry option. - **Data pipelines:** We’ve added a new pixel for Snapchat, giving you a way to directly track conversion events in PostHog. - **Web analytics:** [Rafa added](https://github.com/PostHog/posthog/pull/28647) the option to sort web analytics table. This didn’t exist before, for some reason. - **Feature flags:** We’re changing how quota limits work. It used to be that we’d continue serving flag updates even after you hit a limit, but from March 10th we’ll now stop this and send a limit warning instead. We’re getting in touch directly with anyone this will impact, so expect to hear more soon. - **Error tracking:** [Alerts](https://posthog.com/docs/alerts) now work with the error tracking beta, enabling you to get updates about when errors occur, or when there’s a high frequency of exceptions. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/libraries/dotnet) ### [Error tracking now works with alerts](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2214) _February 26, 2025 · Error Tracking Team · Error tracking_ [Alerts](https://posthog.com/docs/alerts) now work with [the error tracking beta](http://app.posthog.com/home#panel=feature-previews), enabling you to get email updates about when new errors occur, or there's a high frequency of exceptions. Not in the beta yet? There's still time to join before it heads to full release! [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/alerts) ### [Bigger surveys are now available](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2201) _February 21, 2025 · Hedgehogs Team · Surveys_ You can now create surveys with more than six options for single or multiple choice questions. That's it. Thanks, [Lucas](https://posthog.com/community/profiles/32387) for the quality-of-life update. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/surveys) ### [Open web vitals as insights](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2199) _February 21, 2025 · Web Analytics Team · Web analytics_ Rafa, in his ongoing work on [the web vitals beta](https://posthog.com/docs/web-analytics/web-vitals), has added the option to open web vitals results in product analytics _with a single click_. This is handy for a lot of reasons, such as if you want to run a deep analysis on how results correlate to other metrics, or if you want to create [alerts](https://posthog.com/docs/alerts) for your web vitals scores. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/web-analytics/web-vitals) ### [Max AI can now help you with regex and path-cleaning](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2197) _February 21, 2025 · Replay Team · Session replay_ One of the best ways to get more value out of replays is to [only record the specific sessions you want to watch](https://posthog.com/docs/session-replay/how-to-control-which-sessions-you-record), which usually means that you're choosing to capture recordings only on specific pages. The challenge, however, is that we require you to identify these pages with regex. And most people find regex annoying, or difficult. Enter: Max AI, to the rescue. Now, thanks to [Alex](https://posthog.com/community/profiles/32498), when you're choosing the URLs you want to record you can just [tell Max in natural language what you want to achieve](https://app.posthog.com/settings/project-replay#replay-triggers). He'll do the hard work for you! ([Rafael](https://posthog.com/community/profiles/32207) also added this to path-cleaning rules, but says all glory belongs to Alex) [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/session-replay/how-to-control-which-sessions-you-record) ### [Easy filters for survey answers](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2198) _February 21, 2025 · Surveys_ [Lucas](https://posthog.com/community/profiles/32387) was frustrated that filtering surveys required so many clicks and unintuitively asked you to look for 'Survey response' as a filter event when doing so. So, he fixed it. There's now an entirely new filtering system for surveys, enabling you to more quickly build complex survey filters based on target questions, common filter types, and set values. All of it appears in [a nice, easy, new design](https://app.posthog.com/surveys) for any survey with responses. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/surveys) ### [We now officially maintain the Elixir SDK](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2200) _February 21, 2025 · Website Team · Uncategorized_ Once upon a time, about five years ago, there was an amazing open-source contributor called [Nick](https://github.com/nkezhaya). He was passionate about supporting PostHog in the early days and even went so far as to create [an Elixir SDK](https://github.com/PostHog/posthog-elixir) for us. Fast forward to now and that SDK is so popular and so impressive that we've decided to bring it in-house and officially support it. Thanks, Nick! ### [Feature flags have +1 flexibility ](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2195) _February 11, 2025 · Feature Flags Team · Feature flags_ Thanks to [Daniel](https://posthog.com/community/profiles/31992), it's now possible to edit feature flag variants while an experiment is in draft. You can also create an experiment with an existing feature flag. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/feature-flags) ### [Mobile session replay is out of beta](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2194) _February 11, 2025 · Replay Team · Session replay_ The Artist Formerly Known as Prince used to rewatch his every move after a show, in order to improve. That purple rain was no accidental weather phenomenon. Session replay is what Prince-like engineers use to do the same - watching user interactions to learn how to improve their products. And now, you can watch mobile sessions, too. Mobile session replay is currently available on Android, iOS and React Native, with 2,500 free sessions every month. We also have a Flutter SDK, which is in beta and free to use until release. We'd love to [hear your feedback](http://app.posthog.com/home#supportModal) and you can [read more in the docs](https://posthog.com/docs/session-replay/mobile)! Hat tip to the Replay team and The Engineer Presently Known as [Patricio](https://posthog.com/community/profiles/31566) for his impeccable performance here. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/session-replay/mobile) ### [Web vitals added to toolbar](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2196) _February 11, 2025 · Web Analytics Team · Toolbar_ "Every so often, launching the toolbar doesn't work for people," mused Paul. "And while PostHog already lets you manually load the toolbar, but we don't expose a good way to get the info you need..." So Paul fixed it. Meanwhile, Raf made sure the web vitals visualization was added directly in the toolbar. And there you have it: the Paul + Raf Toolbar Improvement Combo. (btw, if you haven't used the toolbar, it's a really useful way to experience PostHog, right in your app/site. To use it, in your PostHog instance, go to '[Launch Toolbar](https://app.posthog.com/toolbar)' in the left-hand menu.) [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/toolbar) ### [Path cleaning UI/UX improved](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2189) _February 5, 2025 · Web Analytics Team · Web analytics_ [Rafa](https://posthog.com/community/profiles/32207) has fundamentally overhauled the interface and user experience for path cleaning, meaning that paths displayed in web analytics will now render properly for people using the suggested `` format. Plus, you can test the new path cleaning strategy in [your config page](https://app.posthog.com/settings/project-product-analytics#path-cleaning). [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/web-analytics) ### [Assign groups in error tracking](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2192) _February 5, 2025 · Error Tracking Team · Error tracking_ You can now assign issues to groups (as well as individuals) in [our error tracking beta](http://app.posthog.com/home#panel=feature-previews), enabling you to quickly sort through errors from the dashboard. It's especially useful if you either don't know who to blame for an error specifically, or you just want to annoy an entire team of engineers all at once. [Give it a go!](http://app.posthog.com/home#panel=feature-previews) [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/error-tracking) ### [Share recordings to Linear](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2191) _February 5, 2025 · Replay Team · Session replay_ Love Linear? Same. That's why we made it easier to share recordings straight to Linear while we were making [other improvements to the share modal](https://github.com/PostHog/posthog/pull/28124). Now, with the new modal options, you can create a new issue in Linear from within PostHog, complete with a linked recording and custom title and description. Got another destination you want us to add? [Let us know!](http://app.posthog.com/home#supportModal) [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/session-replay) ### [Tagging available for shared metrics](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2190) _February 5, 2025 · Experiments Team · Experiments_ You can now, thanks to [Daniel](https://posthog.com/community/profiles/31992), add tags to your [shared metrics](https://posthog.com/docs/experiments/metrics#shared-metrics) to make them easier to organize and sort through. This is obviously helpful for teams that have a lot of experiments and want a quicker way to manage shared metrics, but also means you can use tags to apply multiple shared metrics to an experiment at once. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/experiments/metrics#shared-metrics) ### [We'll buy out your existing contracts](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2193) _February 5, 2025 · Blitzscale Team · Pricing & billing_ Want to switch to PostHog? Trapped in a contract with an existing point solution which either doesn't handle your requirements or have enough hedgehogs in its marketing? No worries, we'll now buy you out of your existing contract and negotiate fiercely on your behalf with your current supplier. Hopefully, all you need to worry about is installing PostHog, [but that bit is easy](https://posthog.com/docs/getting-started/install). There are, naturally, a couple of requirements and guidelines on this (mainly that you'll need to switch to an annual contract with us), but you can [read all about it in our handbook](https://posthog.com/handbook/growth/sales/contracts#contract-buyouts). Or, you can just [chat with us about it](https://posthog.com/talk-to-a-human) if you prefer. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/getting-started/install) ### [LLM observability now supports Anthropic and Vercel AI SDK](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2187) _February 5, 2025 · Product Analytics Team · Product analytics_ The LLM observability beta is progressing quickly, with a new Typescript SDK, [a Vercel AI SDK](https://posthog.com/docs/ai-engineering/observability), and full support for [Anthropic](https://posthog.com/docs/ai-engineering/observability). You can thank [Peter](https://posthog.com/community/profiles/32304) for these new goodies. These new SDKs make it even easier to get your AI and LLM product data into PostHog, so you can start getting into the details of your performance and LLM usage. We've even got [some new tutorials](https://posthog.com/docs/ai-engineering/tutorials) to help you get more out of the beta. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/ai-engineering/observability) ### [Property filters added for batch exports](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2188) _February 5, 2025 · CDP_ You can now filter [batch exports](https://posthog.com/docs/cdp/batch-exports) using property filters, just like you would if you used CDP destinations. This makes it easier to find the data you need, and it's consistent with the rest of the app. Speaking of consistency, we also took the opportunity to refresh the batch exports UI to more closely resemble CDP too, making it a more uniform experience for you. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/cdp/batch-exports) ### [Web Vitals on toolbar](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2160) _February 1, 2025 · Web Analytics Team · Web analytics_ You can easily access web vitals in our toolbar now, nice! [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/web-analytics) ## January 2025 ### [Multiple environments beta](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2185) _January 29, 2025 · Configuration_ Projects now support multiple environments, thanks to a new beta that is [available in the feature previews menu](http://app.posthog.com/home#panel=feature-previews). Each environment functions as a separate collection of data within your project, while things like dashboards, insights, feature flags, and surveys all remain at the project level. In other words, you can now have a separate `Dev` and `Prod` environment setup within the same project and simply switch between them while viewing a dashboard to see how the data differs between environments. We're still putting together some of the documentation, but the beta is otherwise available to try now, so [give it a go and let us know what you think](http://app.posthog.com/home#panel=feature-previews)! ### [Key-pair authentication now available for Snowflake batch exports](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2184) _January 29, 2025 · CDP_ As changelog updates go it's a bit of a mouthful, but: we now support key-pair authentication for Snowflake [batch exports](https://posthog.com/docs/cdp/batch-exports). This is handy for users who may not have the access needed for username/password authentication, but _do_ have access to a private key. Thanks, [Ross](https://posthog.com/community/profiles/31771)! [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/cdp/batch-exports) ### [Independent filters on retention insights](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2183) _January 29, 2025 · Product Analytics Team · Product analytics_ [Retention insights](https://posthog.com/docs/product-analytics/retention) help you identify how many users return during subsequent periods, so you can find out how many users who do something then return to do another thing later. Until now though, it's lacked the ability to add independent filters to the start and end event, but [Anirudh](https://posthog.com/community/profiles/30974) has solved that now. You can now add filters to both ends of a retention insight, which enables you to find out things like '*How many people who logged in with Firefox later logged in with a different browser?*' or '*How many users who tried a new feature then visited the documentation about it?*' [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/product-analytics/retention) ### [Web vitals beta in web analytics](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2186) _January 29, 2025 · Web Analytics Team · Web analytics_ We've introduced a new dedicate Web Vitals dashboard to web analytics. Web Vitals are an essential set of metrics for anyone building web-based products, offering a standardised way to understand things like page performance and visual stability. [Opt in to the new beta](http://app.posthog.com/home#panel=feature-previews) and you'll get access a new dedicated tool that breaks down all the web vitals, your best and worst performing pages, and the performance trend for your whole website. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/web-analytics) ### [Our new LLM observability beta is now open](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2180) _January 24, 2025 · Product Analytics Team · Product analytics_ We continue to pick up the pace shipping new tools, this time releasing our new LLM observability tool into public beta. You can [opt in with the feature preview menu](http://app.posthog.com/home#panel=feature-previews) and all we ask is that you [let us know what you think](http://app.posthog.com/home#supportModal). LLM observability offers pretty much what you'd expect from the name – a way to capture and analyze your LLM usage and performance in PostHog. We currently capture data such as latency, the cost of each generation, the model used, and more, but there's more to come as the beta evolves. Part of what makes LLM observability useful is that we capture the usage and performance data as events, enabling you to combine it with existing data across other PostHog tools. You can, for example, use the beta to [trigger email notifications](https://posthog.com/docs/alerts) when LLM costs surge above a threshold, or use insights to understand the correlation between latency and retention. You can even trigger feature flags or surveys based on these events, if you like. Or, if you're in a rush, we've also got a pre-built dashboard to summarize the essential info – [join the beta](http://app.posthog.com/home#panel=feature-previews) to check it out, or [check the docs](https://posthog.com/docs/ai-engineering) for more info. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/alerts) ### [Improvements to avoid duplicate identify events](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2175) _January 23, 2025 · Growth Team · Configuration_ It's a small improvement, but it's a good one and it's Joshua's first – we now do more to avoid duplicate identify events for the same user on posthog-JS, which was an issue impacting a small number of users. It works by avoiding multiple `$identify` events if one has already been sent for a user and the page hasn't been refreshed. ### [Wow, it's a new UI for PostHog experiments](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2174) _January 23, 2025 · Experiments Team · Experiments_ We've added new stacked delta charts that help you quickly assess results for complex, ongoing experiments, including deltas and confidence intervals. Even if that doesn't make sense to you, you have to admit it looks pretty. The new UI also includes a few other improvements under the hood, such as standardizing the way that primary and secondary metrics are compared, and enabling you to specify up to 20 (!!) unique metrics per experiment. [Give it a go!](app.posthog.com/experiments) [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/experiments) ### [Data warehouse tables in experiments](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2172) _January 23, 2025 · Experiments Team · Experiments_ In response to a special request from our friends at [ElevenLabs](https://posthog.com/customers/elevenlabs), [Daniel](https://posthog.com/community/profiles/31992) has added the option to [use data warehouse tables in experiments](https://posthog.com/docs/experiments/data-warehouse). This is mostly helpful if your data warehouse already contains event-like data (because experiments still need events to judge performance), as it enables you to reference that data as an experiment metric. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/experiments/data-warehouse) ### [Manually mask widgets in mobile replay ](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2177) _January 23, 2025 · Replay Team · Session replay_ [Manoel](https://posthog.com/community/profiles/30206) is at it again, this time improving mobile session replay ([there's a beta, you should join it](http://app.posthog.com/home#panel=feature-previews)) by adding the option to manually mark a widget for masking using the `PostHogMaskWidget` call. [It's all explained in the docs](https://posthog.com/docs/session-replay/privacy?tab=Flutter). Masking is obviously super important for protecting user privacy, so it's always worth checking the docs to understand your capabilities in this regard. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/session-replay/privacy?tab=Flutter) ### [Flag persistence can now be set as a project-level default](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2178) _January 23, 2025 · Feature Flags Team · Feature flags_ You can, thanks to [Dylan](https://posthog.com/community/profiles/30455), now set feature flag persistence as a project-level default setting to help ensure that users have more consistent experiences. This is a small, but vitally important update for teams which use a lot of feature flags and experiments, ensuring that users don't see different versions of a flag when they log in or revisit your product. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/feature-flags) ### [We launched a job board for cool tech jobs](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2179) _January 23, 2025 · Website Team · Uncategorized_ Here's a fun fact: Over the last two years alone, over 26,000 people have applied for less than 65 available roles at PostHog. That's a lot and it got us thinking that if there's that many people who want to work in a cool environment like ours, maybe we can help them. So, [we built a job board for roles from other companies](https://posthog.com/cool-tech-jobs) which have [similar perks to PostHog](https://posthog.com/careers). Those include exotic off-sites, high numbers of engineers, remote-only teams, and more. We're already listing available roles from companies such as GitLab, ElevenLabs, Zapier, Supabase, and more. ### [Shared metrics for your experiments](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2173) _January 23, 2025 · Experiments Team · Experiments_ A final contribution from [Neil](https://posthog.com/community/profiles/28695) (who is [now working on his own projects](https://posthog.com/handbook/people/benefits#well-be-your-first-investor)) and [Juraj](https://posthog.com/community/profiles/29792), we've added the ability to define and save metrics, so you can share them across multiple experiments quickly. This is mainly useful for saving time if, like us, you run a lot of experiments which rely on a single, oft-used metric – like sign-ups, or conversion events. Big thanks to Neil for this and his many other contributions over the years! [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/experiments) ### [Twilio SMS now available as a CDP source](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2176) _January 23, 2025 · Workflows Team · CDP_ Ever wanted to use PostHog to send SMS messages to users through Twilio? [Now you can](https://posthog.com/docs/cdp/destinations/twilio). Obviously, you'll need permission to send messages, but we think this will be helpful for all sorts of customer notifications, such as delivery info, 2FA info, and more. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/cdp/destinations/twilio) ### [Survey previews now fully navigable inside PostHog](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2155) _January 15, 2025 · Surveys_ It's a small update, but since it's Lucas' first submission we feel we have to sound the new feature klaxxon on the changelog: 📢 *survey previews are now fully navigable inside PostHog* 📢. This corrects a small bug where it was previously impossible to get to the last question when interacted with the preview. Phew! [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/surveys) ### [Playlist limit removed for free users](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2158) _January 15, 2025 · Replay Team · Session replay_ We were feeling generous, so we removed the arbitrary limit on the number of replay playlists users can create. Everyone can now make unlimited playlists. Consider it a late Christmas present? [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/session-replay) ### [Manually stop/start recordings on iOS with our SDK](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2154) _January 15, 2025 · Replay Team · Session replay_ Looking to [reduce your mobile replay usage](https://posthog.com/docs/billing/estimating-usage-costs#how-to-reduce-your-posthog-costs)? [Ioannis](https://posthog.com/community/profiles/31730) has got you covered, on iOS at least. He's just added the ability to manually start recording with the `startSessionRecording(resumeCurrent: Bool)` command, or stop them with the `stopSessionRecording()` command. Our shareholders would obviously prefer it if you instead just constantly recorded every single session without a thought to the cost, but this is good too. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/billing/estimating-usage-costs#how-to-reduce-your-posthog-costs) ### [Easier flag-filtering in session replays](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2153) _January 15, 2025 · Replay Team · Session replay_ Let's say that you wanted to filter a big list of session replays by feature flags, to examine how users with different flags interact with your product. - **How it used to work:** You'd have to manually set a bunch of filters to hone in on the correct replay, often drawing on some detailed knowledge of how that flag was set up. - **How it works now:** You can just select a feature flag from a new top-level menu. Easy. Thanks, [Paul](https://posthog.com/community/profiles/30173)! [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/session-replay) ### [It's boring, but we updated our privacy policy](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2157) _January 15, 2025 · People & Ops Team · Uncategorized_ This is incredibly dull news, but we've [amended](https://github.com/PostHog/posthog.com/pull/10328) [our privacy policy](https://posthog.com/privacy) to include an updated list of subprocessors and to clarify that the policy applies to the data of PostHog customers, not the data of our customers users. You can ~thank~ blame [Charles](https://posthog.com/community/profiles/28625) and [Fraser](https://posthog.com/community/profiles/30207) for the seconds you potentially wasted reading this, but your legal department will probably love this. ### [You can now measure multiple metrics in experiments](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2152) _January 15, 2025 · Experiments Team · Experiments_ It's Daniel's first time being celebrated on the changelog and it's happily with a pretty major improvement: multiple metrics are now available for all experiments. Measuring multiple metrics enables you to get a better read on the impact of an experiment when you need to balance multiple considerations, such as the number and quality of new sign-ups. As always, you can find out more about this in [the experiment metrics docs](https://posthog.com/docs/experiments/metrics). [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/experiments/metrics) ### [S3 batch exports can now split files by size](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2156) _January 15, 2025 · Uncategorized_ "This is probably too small to be worth mentioning on the changelog," says [Ross](https://posthog.com/community/profiles/31771). "*NONSENSE*!" say [the rest of us](https://posthog.com/people). You can now choose to split S3 batch export files based on a max file size, rather than always exporting a single larger file. This makes it easier to manage your files generally and is *definitely* worth posting here. ### [Improved detail overview for replays](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2151) _January 15, 2025 · Replay Team · Session replay_ [Paul](https://posthog.com/community/profiles/30173) shipped a small, but significant improvement this week: making session replay prefer event properties to person properties when describing sessions. This gives you a better overview of replay details as you move through the UI. We will still fallback to person properties if nothing is available, but that's strictly a fallback. Paul also added more GeoIP data to tooltips, and polished the overview design a bit while he was at it. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/session-replay) ### [Error tracking open beta](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2150) _January 15, 2025 · Error Tracking Team · Error tracking_ Error tracking is now available as [an open beta in our feature preview menu](http://app.posthog.com/home#panel=feature-previews). Because we're an all-in-one platform, you can use any reported errors to create insights, filter recordings, trigger surveys, and anything else you can imagine. This means, for example, you can seamlessly find session replays of specific errors when trying to debug root causes, or send crash surveys to users whenever an exception is triggered. You can even use them to trigger feature flags that could shift users into different versions, or safe modes. You can find out how to get started with all this in [the new error-tracking docs](https://posthog.com/docs/error-tracking). As with all beta features, error tracking is entirely free while we continue to work on it. All we ask is that you share any feedback and bug reports with [the error tracking team](https://posthog.com/teams/error-tracking). All you have to do is [opt-in to get started!](http://app.posthog.com/home#panel=feature-previews) *Spelling errors made in previous versions of this post: 9.* [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/error-tracking) ### [Max AI chatbot added to website and docs](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2159) _January 15, 2025 · Website Team · Uncategorized_ Apparently, AI is *so in* right now, so we jumped on the bandwagon and added a discreet, hedgehog-shaped chatbot to this very website. You can summon them by pressing `?` anywhere on posthog.com. Powered by Inkeep, [Max AI](https://posthog.com/changelog/2025?chat=open) lets you ask product questions in natural language. We've been testing it internally for a few weeks and found it useful enough to roll out with confidence. Try asking him things like 'How do I mask sensitive data?' or 'How do I control costs?' If you're inexplicably on a keyboard without a `?` button then you can use the button in the top right to summon Max instead. Or, if you'd prefer, you can execute a old-fashioned search with the `/` button. You can also open Max from most docs pages. ### [Big, fancy SQL editor now in simple, modest beta](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2149) _January 9, 2025 · Warehouse Team · HogQL_ Feeling cramped in our standard SQL editor? Give our new SQL editor a spin via the new open, opt-in beta. It's got tabbed queries. It's got table search. It's got virtualized lists. It's got more real-estate on the screen, so it can fully command the attention it deserves! You can opt in to the new, revamped SQL editor in the feature previews menu while we continue to work on it. Please note, however, you'll need to refresh the browser once you've enabled it. The SQL editor will then replace the standard data warehouse page. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/sql) ### [GrowSurf made a PostHog integration](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=2148) _January 9, 2025 · Website Team · Apps_ File this under 'Something cool happened', but: referral program [GrowSurf](https://growsurf.com/integrations/posthog) made a new PostHog integration completely under their own steam and without needing anything from us at all. That's the magic of open-source software for you! GrowSurf is a platform that helps Seed to Series D tech startups launch an in-product customer referral program in days, not weeks. The integration they've built enables you to capture referral actions and events in PostHog so you can analyze performance and correlate it with other product metrics. You can use it to find out, for example, if referred customers are more valuable or active than 'normal' customers. And that's just for starters! [Visit GrowSurf's PostHog integration page](https://docs.growsurf.com/additional-integrations/posthog) to find out more and get the integration setup quickly. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/data-pipelines) ### [Threshold-based alerting](https://posthog.com/changelog?id=1858) _January 2, 2025 · Product Analytics Team · Product analytics_ Users have asked for a functionality to create threshold-based alerts, e.g. when the conversion rate drops below a certain threshold. [Docs](https://posthog.com/docs/product-analytics)
